Restaurant, officers raise money for Special Olympics

Local law officers and the Texas Roadhouse restaurant in northwest Fresno will team up May 19 to host a benefit lunch for Special Olympics California.

Law officers will serve a free lunch of a limited menu from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The menu will include a pulled pork sandwich, steak fries, bread with honey-cinnamon butter and a non-alcoholic drink.

Diners are asked to leave a donation at their table to benefit the Special Olympic athletes.

The restaurant is at 3190 W. Shaw Ave.
