Mariposa County Sheriff's Office seeking runaway teen girl

The Mariposa County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in finding a 16-year-old runaway girl from Mariposa.

Kaiwi Murdock is described as Pacific Islander, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 230 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. The sheriff's office reported she went missing May 3.

Murdock has ties to the Merced and Sacramento areas, and possibly even in Las Vegas, the sheriff's office said.

Anyone with information about Murdock is asked to call the Mariposa County Sheriff's Office at (209) 966-3615.
