The Madera County District Attorney will hold a town meeting to discuss recent arson convictions at 7 p.m. Monday at Yosemite Lakes Community Center, 30250 Yosemite Springs Parkway.

District Attorney Michael Keitz and representatives from CalFire will be on hand to discuss the arson trial of Kenneth Allen Jackson and Alice Waterman.

The Coarsegold couple was convicted of arson Thursday for starting a string of fires in the Yosemite Lakes Park area over a six-week period last year.

Jackson, 41, and Waterman, 47, set 31 fires in 2013 between May 5 and June 25, authorities said. They were caught June 25 near Revis Circle East in Yosemite Lakes Park, near the scene of a fire set that evening near their home.

Anyone with questions about the town hall meeting may call Dana Clinton at the Madera District Attorney's Office at (559) 675-7726.
