81 Valley students graduate from UCSF Fresno Doctors Academy

UCSF Fresno Doctors Academy will graduate 81 students in June from their programs at Caruthers, Sunnyside and Selma high schools.

Award ceremonies will be held throughout May to honor the students who have participated in dentistry, medicine and pharmacy courses. All students plan to continue their education at post-secondary institutions.

Caruthers High School will recognize 21 students in its gymnasium at 2580 W. Tahoe St. at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Sunnyside High will recognize 36 students in its theater at 1019 S. Peach Ave., at 6 p.m. May 22.

A ceremony was held Monday for 24 students from Selma High School.
