National Alliance on Mental Illness to host fundraiser walk in Fresno

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Fresno is holding its annual NAMIWalks event, "Walking for Mental Health," May 10 at Woodward Park in the group activities area.

Funds will be used to support NAMI's programs throughout Fresno County. NAMI programs include support, education, research and advocacy for people with and affected by schizophrenia, bipolar disorder (manic depression), major depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder and severe anxiety disorders.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 9:30 a.m.
