Fresno State expo highlights students' startups

More than two dozen startup businesses from the Entrepreneurship 157 class at Fresno State will be showcased next week at an entrepreneurship expo.

The expo is from 9 to 11 a.m. May 6 at the University Business Center's Gottschalks Gallery.

The class, taught by professor Nelson Sabra, is a new venture laboratory in which students develop a business idea and business plan. Students team with established entrepreneurs, suppliers, customers and experts to create a potentially viable business venture. Twenty-seven students will be showing off their ideas.

Admission is free and open to the public, and a passcode for free parking is available. Details:
