Fresno ceremony marks 99 years since Armenian genocide

Armenians gather outside Fresno City Hall for a flag-raising ceremony hosted by the Armenian National Committee of America Central California, Thursday, April 24th 2014. The ceremony commemorated of the 99th year after the Armenian genocide of 1915. About 1.5 million Armenian men, women and children were systematically murdered at the order of the Ottoman Turkish government.
