Clovis Unified bus driver wins state award

Clovis Unified's Pamela Black received the state's top honor for school bus drivers during a ceremony Tuesday morning in Clovis.

California Highway Patrol Assistant Commissioner Ramona Prieto helped deliver the School Bus Driver of the Year award during a breakfast presentation at the district transportation office attended by fellow drivers and others.

Black was noted for her work in transporting special needs kids to-and-from school each day and has been on the job for four years.
