Tulare hearing set on Edison rate hike plan

The California Public Utilities Commission will hold a public hearing June 4 in Tulare on Southern California Edison's request for an electricity rate increase in 2015.

The hearing, at the Tulare City Council Chambers at 491 N. M St., is one of several planned throughout California to discuss several utility companies' plans to increase rates or close branch offices.

Anyone unable to attend in person can submit comments via email at public.advisor@cpuc.ca.gov.
