World Bank Group executive to discuss poverty at Fresno State

The executive director of The World Bank Group will speak at Fresno State on April 28 about the organization's mission to end extreme poverty.

Sundaran Annamalai will discuss "Investments of the World Bank in Agriculture and Rural Development in Southeast Asia," a talk about the organization's goal to decrease the percentage of individuals who live on less than $1.25 a day.

The event is free and open to the public. It will be at 5 p.m. in the Alice Peters Auditorium in the Peters Business Building, 5245 N. Backer Ave. To RSVP, contact Bill Erysian at bille@csufresno.edu or (559) 278-5115.
