The 144th Fighter Wing dedicated its flagship F-15 fighter jet, assigned to wing commander, Col. Clay Garrison, to the city of Madera at the Air National Guard base in Fresno during its first Cities of Honor ceremony, Friday, April 18, 2014. The aircraft now dons nose art of the city's crest. Other valley cities will eventually be dedicated with their own aircraft as a thank you to those communities for their support.
