Nunna named Fresno State engineering college dean

Ram Nunna

The interim dean of Lyles College of Engineering at Fresno State has been named permanently to the position after serving in the role for nearly four years.

University officials said in a statement that Ram Nunna was picked following a national search.

Nunna, who was hired to the university in 1998, served previously as associate dean and chair of the electrical and computer engineering department.

He has a master's and a doctorate degree from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, and earned his bachelor's degree from Bangalore University in India.
