Overturned beer truck causes closures on Highway 41 in Fresno

The Fresno BeeApril 15, 2014

The westbound Jensen Avenue on-ramp to southbound Highway 41 was closed Tuesday morning for more than four hours after a big rig transporting beer overturned at the bottom of the on-ramp, California Highway Patrol Officer Scott Jobinger said.

The accident caused CHP to close the ramp and the slow lane of southbound Highway 41 at Jensen until about 10 a.m. for clean-up.

The solo-vehicle accident happened around 5:30 a.m. The beer truck driver, the only person involved in the crash, was not injured, Jobinger said.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
