Rail crossing safety

Fresno and railroad police staked out rail crossings across the city on Wednesday, April 9, to boost enforcement of laws requiring drivers to stop at crossings when lights are flashing and gates are lowering. It coincides with a new nationwide railroad safety campaign by Operation Lifesaver. Video by Fresno Bee reporter Tim Sheehan.
