Fresno Wildlife to hold Renaissance Banquet May 17

Fresno Wildlife Rehabilitation and Nature Center will hold its annual Renaissance Banquet May 17 at the Simonian Fruit Company to support the rescue, rehabilitation and release efforts of native species and to educate the public.

Renaissance apparel is encouraged, but not required. The organization's educational animals will be at the event.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. at 511 N. 7th St. in Fowler. Tickets are $50, and information on how they can be purchased is online at Donations can also be made online.

Fresno Wildlife's education programs are put on by volunteers and reach more than 19,000 children and adults every year.
