Teen driver event at Save Mart Center will teach dangers of distracted driving

The CHP and California Office of Traffic Safety will conduct a distracted driving car rodeo on Tuesday at Fresno State in observation of California Teen Safe Driving week.

The week-long campaign, running April 2-8, coincides with National Distracted Driving Awareness Month and is designed to educate young drivers.

The event will begin at 8 a.m. at the Savemart Center. The CHP and Office of Traffic Safety partnered with Savemart Center, California State University, Fresno, Fresno Lexus and Bulldog Sports Properties to host the event.
