CHP patrol car flips on Highway 99 near Madera

A California Highway Patrol officer's patrol car flipped about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday north of Madera, the CHP said.

The CHP said the solo-vehicle accident caused minor injuries to the officer, whose name was not released. The cruiser flipped headed northbound on Highway 99 at the 20 1/2 off ramp just north of Madera, the CHP said.

The accident remains under investigation.
