Fresno's Discovery Center marks 60th anniversary Saturday

Valley residents are invited to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the opening of the Discovery Center in Fresno on Saturday.

The event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Families can enjoy the science-based exhibits, including an interactive science museum, a live reptile exhibit, dinosaur bones, remnants from a space shuttle and more.

The cost is $6 per child and $8 per adult. Admission is free for ages 3 and younger, and for Discovery Center members.
