Calwa school locked down after parent made verbal threats

Calwa Elementary School at Cedar and Jensen avenues in southeast Fresno was briefly placed on lockdown Tuesday afternoon after a parent made verbal threats, Fresno Unified spokeswoman Susan Bedi said.

The parent was arrested in the school parking lot after police were called.
