Brief power outage hits northwest Visalia

A momentary power outage occurred Tuesday in northwest Visalia, Southern California Edison said.

The incident happened about 12:30 pm when the Oakgrove substation at Shirk Street and Goshen Avenue went down for unknown reasons, a spokesman said.

All circuits quickly returned to normal and the cause of the outage is being investigated, spokesman Brian Thoburn said.
