Fresno Big Brothers Big Sisters to be a Safe Place site for runaways

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California will be designated as a new Safe Place site Wednesday in central Fresno.

The site at 905 Fulton St. will be a safe place for at-risk runaway youth to be connected to services to help them make positive changes in their lives.

An open house with refreshments, entertainment and free raffle prizes will be at the site at 4 p.m.

Big Brothers Big Sisters helps match hundreds of children with caring adult mentors in Fresno, Madera, Tulare, Kings and Kern counties in the central San Joaquin Valley.
