A fundraiser car wash will be held next to the Dollar Tree store at Ashlan and Cedar Avenues starting at 8 a.m. Sunday, to help benefit the family of Arthur Gomez Sr.

Gomez, the 39-year-old head coach of the Parlier Panthers youth football team, was fatally shot March 7 during a disagreement with a next-door neighbor.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie, six children and two foster children.

A candlelight vigil and memorial service for Gomez was held Friday in Parlier High School's stadium.
