Fresno County second-installment property taxes due April 10

The Fresno BeeMarch 8, 2014

Fresno County second-installment property taxes must be paid by April 10 or incur past due charges, Fresno County tax collector Vicki Crow said.

A 10% penalty and $10 will be added to all payments received or postmarked after 5 p.m. April 10.

Crow also reminds Fresno County residents that anyone who has recently acquired property should check that the taxes have been paid. Taxpayers are still responsible for payments even if they do not receive a bill.

Payment information is available at or by calling (559) 600-3482.

Mailed payments should be addressed Fresno County Tax-Collector at P.O. Box 1192, Fresno, 93715-1192.

The tax collector office encourages taxpayers to pay by mail or use the automated system to avoid parking problems and lines in the office. There is also a drop box in the lobby, Room 105 of the Hall of Records, 2281 Tulare St., for payments made by check.
