Fresno lanes to close for sewer, railroad improvements

The Fresno BeeMarch 8, 2014

Lane closures are planned in Fresno over the next several weeks for sewer and railroad improvement projects, city officials announced Saturday.

Lane closures related to railroad improvements will be more brief -- three days, beginning Tuesday and ending Thursday -- on Figarden Drive between Bullard and Santa Fe avenues, but detours will be in place going both directions.

Lane closures are underway on Blackstone Avenue between Clinton and McKinley avenues for the sewer improvement project, which will last for about six weeks, city officials said. Motorists should expect delays in that area.
