Body in road in central Fresno ruled a suicide

Update: The body of a man found in the road on Valentine Avenue early Friday morning in central Fresno committed suicide, according to the Fresno County Coroner's Office.

The 22-year-old Fresno man was pronounced dead about 4:45 a.m. by the coroner's office on Valentine Avenue, north of Ashlan Avenue.

A news release from police sent at 5 a.m. said officers were investigating a fatal traffic collision.
