Kings County health officials Thursday reported the county's seventh flu-related death.

The death involved a middle-aged man. He had medical problems that put him at higher risk for complications, and he had not gotten a flu shot, county health officials said.

In addition to the seventh death in Kings, Fresno County has had 22 deaths, Tulare County has had four, and Madera County has had three deaths. As of Saturday, Merced County had four deaths.
