Traveling Vietnam museum stirs emotions at Fresno's Veterans Home (video)

The Fresno BeeMarch 5, 2014

Emotions and memories were stirred Wednesday as a mobile museum of Vietnam War memorabilia visited Fresno's Veterans Home of California.

In the video, Juan Trevino, a 65-year-old disabled Vietnam veteran, sits in his wheelchair next to the museum and shares his memories, his resolve, and a poem.

The museum is filled with photographs, documents and artifacts from the war. It also has a portion of the Vietnam Memorial Wall.

It can be seen until 6 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Veterans Home, 2811 W. California Ave.
