Power restored to most after vehicle crash in north Fresno

Update: Pacific Gas & Electric Co. has restored all but 14 customers most closely located to the pole struck early Wednesday morning by a car in north Fresno, spokesman Denny Boyles said Wednesday afternoon.

Those last customers should be restored by 4 p.m., he said.


A vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Blackstone Avenue in north Fresno has knocked out traffic lights and power, Pacific Gas & Electric company reported.

Drivers should be on alert between Minarets and Spruce avenues. PG&E workers are repairing damaged equipment. Spokesman Denny Boyles said about 300 customers are without power.
