Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week marked in Fresno

The Fresno BeeMarch 3, 2014

Dozens of volunteers tied orange ribbons around trees in Fig Garden Village, Fresno City College and Fresno State Monday as part of the effort to mark Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week.

The ribbons are meant to help educate people about multiple sclerosis and build awareness.

MS affects about 2,400 people in the San Joaquin Valley and more than 2.1 million worldwide.
