Young Entrepreneurs Conference brings high school students to downtown Fresno

Organizers say about 1,000 high school students from across the San Joaquin Valley are headed to downtown Fresno on Tuesday for the Central California Young Entrepreneurs Conference.

Hosted by the Fresno State Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in partnership with Fresno City College, the free conference will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center (2233 Ventura St.).

Topics including business pitches, marketing and public relations are on the agenda. Keynote speakers are Viliami Tuivai, also known as "Coach V," a consultant, life coach, team dynamics expert and speaker; and Johnny "Cupcakes" Earle, founder of the clothing brand Johnny Cupcakes, Inc.
