Pacific Gas & Electric Co. is planning to test a natural-gas pipeline in Fowler starting later this month and continuing into June.

The utility company is outlining its plans at an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 3 for Fowler residents at Fremont Elementary School, 306 E. Tuolumne St. The hydrostatic testing in the Fowler area is part of a PG&E program to test the safety of its transmission pipelines across the region, said Denny Boyles, a spokesman for the utility.

The testing will happen on Adams Avenue between Clovis Avenue and Seventh Street.
