Three people killed in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday just west of Fresno have been identified by the Fresno County Coroner's Office.

Two people died at the scene of the crash at Belmont and Monroe avenues: Wilan Campos Jr., 9, and Frank Delgado, 23, of Fresno, according to the coroner's office.

Wilan Campos Sr., 34, died shortly after the crash at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.

A Pontiac driven by Delgado was headed northbound on Monroe Avenue and ran the stop sign at Belmont Avenue about 5:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. The car slammed into a Chevrolet Tahoe carrying five people, including the two Campos victims, the CHP said.

Another three people inside the Tahoe, including driver Maria Campos, 35, of Kerman, were transported by ambulance to hospitals, the CHP said.
