Porterville-based Bank of the Sierra this week unveiled a new corporate logo and changes to its website designed to make online banking easier.
The old logo featured the bank's name in an old-fashioned serif typeface and a mountain scene within an oval field. The new logo -- the product of eight months of research including focus groups -- has a pair of pastel triangles intertwined as stylized mountains and a modern sans serif typeface for the bank name, adding the tagline "Keep Climbing" under the name. The new logo will replace the old one on the bank's paperwork and building signs by March and April.
The changes to the website, bankofthesierra.com, include personal finance-management tools and more mobile-banking capability.
