A two-story home in Clovis caught fire Sunday, the Clovis Fire Department said.
The fire was reported at the house on Peach Avenue just north of Sierra Avenue about 7:30 a.m. It caused extensive damage to the attic, roof and part of the first floor of the home, but no one was injured, officials said.
Officials said the total losses, cause and origin of the fire are under investigation.
First-responders had a few anxious moments when they were told that one of five people from the home wasn't accounted for. That person was soon found outside, allowing firefighters to focus on saving the house.
Officials said the five residents who were displaced are receiving assistance from various resources.
