Madera man arrested for allegedly smashing courthouse door

A man accused of smashing windows at the Madera County Courthouse was arrested early Friday morning, the Madera County Sheriff's Office reported.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Erica Stuart identified the suspect as Andrew Biscay, 29, of Madera. A glass door and and side panel were smashed Feb. 7 at the building.

The arrest took place after the sheriff's office released a video of the incident and received a number of tips. Stuart said that Biscay was on probation for felony evading, felon in possession of ammunition and violation of a restraining order. He was booked on suspicion of felony vandalism.
