A woman was arrested on suspicion of burglarizing a Madera home Thursday, the Madera County Sheriff's Office said.
Police said Leticia Galindo, 30, was caught by witnesses who spotted three strangers and two suspicious cars parked on the property.
The witnesses said two men took off in a gray GMC truck, leaving Galindo behind with a car that turned out to be stolen, police said.
Deputies said that at least $5,000 worth of property was taken from the home.
Galindo was booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections on suspicion of burglary, receiving known stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.
Police are still searching for the two men who were at the home with Galindo.
Witnesses described one of the men as in his mid-40s, heavy-set, with a goatee, and wearing dark pants with a dark jacket, gray shirt and a gray beanie.
Witnesses did not get a good look at the second man, police said.
