Fresno police seek help in finding alleged identity thief

Fresno police released this image of a suspected identity thief. The picture was on a counterfeit driver's license, police said.


Fresno police are seeking information about a woman who allegedly created a phony driver's license to go with a stolen credit card.

A police spokeswoman said an alert store clerk confiscated the license after realizing it was counterfeit.

Anyone with information concerning the woman's identity is asked to call the Police Department's financial crimes unit at (559) 621-6335 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
