The Fresno BeeFebruary 16, 2014

Night Walks is inviting ministers and the public to a meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the California and Elm gym at 1802 E. California Ave. to discuss the team's work and strategies for houses of worship and community organizations to create better relationships with people in Fresno.

Led by ministers, Night Walks promotes peace, discourages violence, and connects people with resources in the community.

Night Walks has partnered with Faith in Community and its Lifelines to Healing campaign. Lifelines to Healing is a national movement of the PICO network of faith-based organizations and congregations to address the causes of pervasive violence and crime and to advocate for policies and resources.
