Girl Scouts to recognize three Fresno community leaders

The Fresno BeeFebruary 15, 2014

Three Fresno women will be honored April 25 as Women Inspiring Girls at a luncheon hosted by Girl Scouts of Central California South.

Susie Bartlett, a past Girl Scout Council board chairwoman; Beth Dooley, president and CEO of the Educational Employees Credit Union; and Dora Westerlund, CEO of the Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation, will join 30 other women from Fresno and Kern counties who have been honored with the award in the past five years at the sixth annual awards luncheon.

The luncheon recognizes dynamic women who have made a positive impact in their community. Funds raised from the luncheon will support the Girl Scouts Connect program, which provides Girl Scouting opportunities to under served, at-risk girls to help them realize their full potential.

The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Roger Rocka's Theater, 226 N. Wishon Ave., Fresno
