Nightly lane closures scheduled for Highway 99 near Goshen

Southbound Highway 99 near the Highway 198 interchange near Goshen will be closed each night beginning Tuesday.

Southbound and northbound Highway 99 at the Highway 198 interchange will be reduced to one lane each way from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night until Friday morning.

The closures are part of the Highway 99 Tulare-to-Goshen North Segment Widening Project, said the California Department of Transportation.

Commuters should expect delays and are encouraged to take alternate routes, Caltrans said. California Highway Patrol will be on site to assist with traffic.
