Fresno event to mark Black History Month

The West Fresno African American Youth Conference will be held in Fresno Feb. 28.

The event will be held in honor of Black History Month at the Mendinghall Better Living Center, at 2750 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. on the campus of Fresno Westside Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The event is for grades 7-12, and activities will start at 7:30 a.m. and last until 2:45 p.m.
