Isaac Castaneda, 32, of Lemoore, was sentenced Thursday to 70 years to life in prison for attempted murder in a gang-related incident, the Kings County District Attorney's Office said.
On April 27, 2012, Castaneda followed Andy Otto to his home and shot him in the arm. Castaneda had been released from prison a few months earlier.
In August, a jury found him guilty of first-degree attempted murder, and that he did it to benefit a gang. Castaneda will be eligible for parole in 70 years.
