Dogs doused in motor oil in Fresno can be adopted, SPCA says

The Fresno BeeFebruary 11, 2014

The dogs that were doused with motor oil by an emotionally disturbed man earlier this month will be available for adoption Feb. 20, a spokesman for Central California SPCA said.

The three dogs were cleaned by SPCA employees. The animals are registered under the following numbers: 21994245, 21994137 and 21993440.

On Feb. 4, a man walked into a Valero gasoline station at Ventura and Fifth streets and told a worker crabs were crawling in his ears and eyes. The man was covered with oil, which he said he used to kill the vermin. The dogs also were saturated.
