Avenal boxer Jose Ramirez will return to the ring March 29 against Wendel Boyd Henley at Las Vegas' Texas Station.
The scheduled six-round light welterweight bout will open UniMas' SoloBoxeo telecast.
Ramirez, a 2012 U.S. Olympian who is signed to Bob Arum's Top Rank Inc. promotions, is 8-0 with six knockouts. He's had first-round stoppages in his past two fights — Feb. 1 against Javier Perez and Nov. 9 against Erick Hernandez Perez.
Henley (10-3-1, 9 KOs) has lost two straight unanimous decisions, the last coming June 29 against Alex Saucedo. The 24-year-old from Kansas City began his career by winning eight of his first nine fights.
