High school wrestling: Clovis' Mejia with upset as Cougars win at Mission San Jose

Freshman and state No. 4-ranked Justin Mejia upset top-ranked senior Joey Cisneros of Redwood in the 106-pound final 6-1 to become one of Clovis High's six champions Saturday at the Mission San Jose Wrestling Tournament.

Nick Nevills (285) earned his third Mission San Jose title at 285 with a pin in 1:01 of Foothill-Pleasanton's Wyatt Landreth, while Khristian Olivas (126), Dominic Kincaid (152), Josh Hokit (160) and AJ Nevills (182) won their weight divisions for the team champion Cougars.

Central's Adrian Camposano (113) and Matt Ontiveros (132), and Clovis North's Austin Flores (170) also captured titles.
