Tim Behrens of Porterville, president of California State Retirees, discussed state retiree issues on Jan. 30 with Gov. Jerry Brown over dinner.

Behrens was part of a small group of people invited to dine with the governor and his wife in the old governor's mansion at 15th and H streets in Sacramento.

The dinner conversation included California's economy, the drought and state retiree issues.
