One-way traffic control scheduled in Fresno, Kern counties

The Fresno BeeFebruary 8, 2014

One-way traffic control will continue next week on Highway 33 in Fresno County and Highway 46 in Kern County as part of a culvert rehabilitation project, Caltrans said.

Crews will install and remove temporary concrete barriers at each location.

One-way traffic control will be in effect Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the following locations:

-- Highway 33: Just south of Laguna Canal to Brannon Avenue near Dos Palos in Fresno County.

-- Highway 46: Between Buford Street to just north of West Side Canal, just east of Interstate 5 in Kern County.

A pilot car and flagging personnel will guide vehicles through the work zones. Commuters are reminded to obey flagging personnel and signs and pay close attention to their surroundings while driving through the construction sites. Delays usually last no longer than 15 minutes.
