Two Eastside Bulldog gang members were arrested on multiple weapons violations as well as child endangerment charges late Thursday night after police checked a report about shots fired west of Highway 99, Fresno police said.
When officers arrived in the 2300 block of North Carol Avenue, near Clinton and Valentine avenues, they saw a man firing a shotgun in the air while his female companion stood by with more ammunition.
Officers arrested Gustavo Aquino, 31, and detained two women. Another man, Jacinto Oracio, 35, tried to run but was taken into custody, police said. Seven small children were nearby, and two stolen shotguns were recovered, police said.
