Work on the Highway 180 braided-ramp project between Highways 41 and 168, which was to have closed the highway and some of its ramps Friday night and Saturday, is being postponed by weather.

Crews had planned to close the eastbound lanes of the highway, as well as the connector ramps from northbound and southbound Highway 41 to eastbound Highway 180, starting at midnight Friday night and reopening at 5 p.m. Saturday. The contractor, R&L Brosamer Inc., announced Thursday afternoon that the work is being pushed back because of storms expected over the weekend.

A new date for the closure and final work is still being determined.
