The Timberwolves, who received 17 points from Dylan Eamigh, had sole possession of first place heading into Tuesday. No. 2 Clovis West also holds a piece of the lead as Michael Orlich scored five of his 23 points in overtime during the Golden Eagles' 72-64 win over Clovis.
Kurtis McCoy opened a 25-point Roosevelt fourth quarter with a thunderous dunk off a missed 3-pointer, and his jumper with 49 seconds left gave the Rough Riders their first lead of the second half en route to a 69-65 victory against No. 8 Fresno in the North Yosemite League. McCoy finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds for Roosevelt, which moved into a tie with the Warriors for the NYL lead. Keunte Howard scored all 15 of his points during the Rough Riders' fourth-quarter rally. The Warriors were without Daryl Edwards and his 25 points per game average as he sat out by rule after being assessed two technical fouls in a game last week.
No. 10-ranked Selma scored 34 unanswered points in the first half and Erin Pallesi led the way with 22 points as the Bears rolled over Kingsburg 54-17 for their 25th consecutive Central Sequoia League win.
